This legislative session is a busy one for champions of LGBT equality in Illinois. With proposed legislation and a budget impasse that has the ability to significantly affect many in our community, now is the time to tell Springfield where we stand. Here is our schedule: 11AM – 12PM – Advocacy training and lunch at the State House Inn (101 E Adams St, Springfield, IL 62701)
12PM – 5PM – Meetings with legislators and public officials, both individually and as a large group. More information on exact meetings to come will be announced prior to the event. Check back for more information.
5PM – 6PM – Closing event and reception at the Illinois State Library (300 S 2nd St, Springfield, IL 62701)
