Equality Illinois envisions a fair and unified Illinois where everyone is treated with dignity and respect and where all people live freely regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity or gender expression.

POLICY–We defend our civil rights wins from anti-LGBTQ attacks and advance pro-LGBTQ policies with a focus on education, health care, and criminal justice. |

PEOPLE–We work to get LGBTQ leaders in positions of influence throughout the state with an emphasis on placing LGBTQ Illinoisans on key state boards and commissions. |

POWER–We create a civically-powerful statewide network of LGBTQ champions by identifying, training, and supporting LGBTQ and allied community groups throughout the state so they can grow and embolden their base. |
